Thrift shopping these days is so underrated. It baffles me because I have found so many quality pieces from consignment stores for such low prices and high qualities. Not only is it a score to get good deals and pricing but you're also doing your part in your community to create a healthier environment. I can personally vouch for goodwill because I have found many classic coats there just in the past month.
If you’re thinking “I don’t want to wear other people’s clothing” I understand, but there’s a way to shop the right way and in a smart, orderly manner. If you’re willing to take some time out of your day and get your hands dirty then I definitely recommend thrift shopping for some staple pieces. My one golden tip for finding the most unique pieces is: going through all of the items on the rack and to try not getting flustered if you aren’t finding anything right away. It takes a lot of patience and dedication but the end product is bound to be well worth it!
