What’s the next best thing to watching the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles play in Super Bowl LIX? Analyzing all of the celebrity outfits in attendance, of course! For the first time ever, the Super Bowl hosted a red carpet leading into the Caesars Superdome, where celebrities showcased their outfits before the game.
Kendrick Lamar
Halftime artist Kendrick Lamar’s performance—and outfit—made quite the statement. Fans were raving about the rapper’s Celine bell-bottom jeans paired with a custom Martine Rose jacket that read “Gloria” across the front—a tribute to the song “Gloria” on his album GNX. Lamar also wore an “a” chain, assumed to be a dig at Drake, and estimated at $1.2 million.
SZA
SZA hit the stage with Kendrick Lamar, rocking an all-red outfit. Her monochromatic look included a leather jacket by Born x Raised, laced-up leather pants by Los Angeles designer Ashton Michael and red sneakers to complete the look.
Taylor Swift
Naturally, Taylor Swift turns heads anywhere she goes, and the Super Bowl was no exception. Swift arrived in an oversized white Saint Laurent blazer and bedazzled jean shorts, Swift was ready to cheer on Chiefs star Travis Kelce—even though the Pennsylvania native once sang about wearing Eagles jerseys (for all my Swifties out there).
Doechii
Fresh off her Grammy win, Doechii showcased her style this Super Bowl weekend. She wore a full Miu Miu game day outfit, pairing a windbreaker with cut-off briefs. For her Saturday night performance at House of Verizon, Doechii wore a knit Gucci polo and navy shorts under a stunning fur coat, completing the look with black loafers and chic glasses.
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga, seen mingling with Doechii and posing for a photo, opted for a monochromatic black look. She wore a long black trench coat and boots, paired with gloves and oversized sunglasses that concealed most of her face.
This year’s Super Bowl was a standout event for both fashion and football, proving that style shines through no matter the occasion. We can’t wait to see what next year’s Super Bowl will bring!
