Whether you are going on a spring break trip or just want to get into the summer mood, there are various rom-coms that will cure your seasonal depression. These books are short, easy reads that focus on a couple falling in love while spending their days in the glaring sun. Below is a list of the most popular ones right now:

Beach Read By Emily Henry

This book follows a romance writer who doesn’t believe in love and a literary writer who is stuck in a slump. However, there’s a twist: They’re both staying at beach houses right next to each other and challenge each other to write novels in the other’s genre. Each will take the other on experiences for their new book—whether it’s a romance or the next great American novel. Is a summer enough to convince her that love still exists? Is a summer enough to convince him that life can be full of happiness? Only time will tell.

It Happened One Summer  By Tessa Bailey

This book follows Piper Bellinger, your typical fashionista influencer who is known as the wild child. When a drunken night turns her reputation sour, her stepfather sends Piper and her sister to Washington to take care of their late father’s bar. There, she meets Brendan—her polar opposite. Piper is forced to choose between her glorious life in L.A. or the sweet, loving man she found in this small town. While spending time out on the water, Piper will question everything she knew about her love life.

People We Meet On Vacation By Emily Henry

This book follows Poppy and Alex, best friends since a shared car ride home from college. They are completely different—Poppy is wild, whereas Alex is calm. They live in different worlds, too: Poppy is in New York City, and Alex is in his small town. But for one week each year, they go on vacation together. That is, until two years ago when everything blew up. They haven’t spoken since. Poppy feels stuck in her life and can’t remember the last time she was happy. She convinces Alex to go on one last vacation—and if they can’t make up, they’ll never talk again. Is one week enough to fix their friendship? Or will it turn into something more?
