Season 4 of "Outer Banks" was released on Netflix in two parts this fall. Part one, containing the first five episodes of the season, was released on Oct. 10, while the remaining half debuted on Nov. 4. The show is already number one on Netflix’s top TV shows in the U.S., and the new season introduced a handful of fresh looks from everyone’s favorite Pogues.
This season, Sarah Cameron embraced a more bohemian vibe in her preppy wardrobe. She wore flowy tops and pants more often than in previous seasons; however, she still stuck to her classic jean shorts and crop top combination. Most of her looks featured a lighter color palette, including white and pastel shades. Additionally, instead of her typical beach wave hairstyle, Sarah’s hair was slightly darker with more natural curls and waves.
On the other hand, Kiara’s outfits continued to reflect her granola-girl persona. She frequently wore a bandana or thick headband with her hair down or in a messy bun. Her wardrobe featured an earth-tone color palette with greens, reds, and neutrals, accented by darker purples, yellows, and oranges. Kiara was often styled in baby T-shirts or tank tops paired with longer jean shorts and sandals or Converse.
Cleo’s looks this season typically featured a baggy silhouette. She often wore pants or shorts with loose-fitting tank tops or T-shirts. Her outfits mostly consisted of darker neutrals and earth tones, and her hair was commonly styled half up, half down to keep it off her face while maintaining a natural look.
The boys, on the other hand, were mainly seen in T-shirts or cut-off tanks with shorts or pants. However, each boy’s style had distinct differences.
JJ Maybank often wore darker colors, such as dark grays, greens, and blacks. Many of his outfits had a worn-down look to reflect his blue-collar background. He was sometimes styled with a backward hat or bandana.
John B also frequently wore a backward hat or bandana but leaned toward a lighter color palette to emphasize his heroic persona. Meanwhile, Pope consistently appeared in striped or patterned tops and lighter earth tones compared to the other boys.
Finally, Rafe Cameron, the Kook turned potential Pogue, was often styled in neutral colors. His outfits were more form-fitting and featured basic pieces like plain T-shirts and pants, reflecting his wealthy background.
