The luckiest day of the year. Miami University’s favorite holiday before spring break. Trying to plan out your GBD? Take some advice from Brick Street’s DJ Just Kian to make the most of Green Beer Day. Whether it’s your first or sadly your last, you don’t want to miss this beloved holiday (if you’re 21 and up, of course) and all the favorite festivities that bring more than just the luck of the Irish. So, let’s plan out your GBD with the lineup.
Just KianÂ
If you notice a Lamborghini parked outside of Brick Street at 5 a.m. on GBD morning, don’t hesitate to come inside—Just Kian will be kicking off the festivities bright and early. There will only be two DJs at Brick Street on GBD: Just Kian from 5 to 8 a.m. and the manager from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. that night. So, if you’re ready to party with a Trash Can or Irish cream coffee, don’t be late for the morning kickoff. Just Kian will be bringing out all the stops for this GBD, as he always does at Brick Street, and suggests getting to Brick as early as possible to grab that green beer we’ve all been waiting a year for.

Brick Street
On Thursday, March 20, doors will be open from 5 a.m. to 2 a.m., so don’t miss Miami’s favorite bar. Whether you’re pulling a 24-hour GBD or joining later at night after midterms, we’ll have a green beer waiting for you.
GBD Traditions
Miami is known for its fraternities and sororities, and nearly every fraternity will be hosting a GBD party this year. Not a big house party girl? Beat will be running for most of the day at Brick Street, so don’t forget to grab a Green Beer Day tee and a bagel from our favorite deli.
We also can’t forget the Ginger Run on the Wednesday night before GBD. If you have a redheaded friend, don’t miss this annual tradition. Set your alarm for a day full of celebrations and memories—just make sure you drink water, babes. (Your roommates will thank me later.)
