You did it. You took four exams in 48 hours, wrote two papers, completed other assignments, attended all your club meetings, worked out five times, and even had a night out—or two—all in one week. Now you’re exhausted. Your first instinct might be to spend hours scrolling through TikTok, but why not make the experience more relaxing with a spa night at home? It doesn’t have to be elaborate; there are simple ways to transform your bed into a reclining chair worthy of a spa.

The first way to have a spa night is a hot shower or bath. Depending on what is available, there are a couple of options. If a bath is an option, then a bath bomb is the way to increase your experience. These can be bought at Target or from LUSH, a shop that specializes in bath bombs. There are also plenty of options for non-bath lovers: consider a relaxing shower with the use of shower bombs. These gadgets can be placed on the shower floor and provide the same effect as bath bombs. LUSH provides a plethora of options. After soaking in hot water, dry off, and put on your favorite pair of comfy pajamas. This is a key to comfort for the rest of your spa night.

Next, a refreshing face mask can set the mood. To truly lean into the experience, you can exfoliate before. There are many different options that you can choose from including everything from a clay mask or sheet masks. Either choice is going to make you feel refreshed and clean. Some popular choices include: Neutrogena’s Hydro Boost Hydrating Face Masks, Burt’s Bees Sheet Masks, and Origins Face Masks

After your face mask, follow with an eye mask to target circles under eyes. The best tip for these strips is to keep them in the fridge in order to get a cooling effect which feels very nice to the skin. Burt’s Bees has great eyes masks, as well as Pixi Beauty and LOOPS Beauty

Finally, the last step is to do your nails. Depending on your skill, you can paint them yourself with nail polish such as Sally Hansen’s Nail Polish and OPI Nail Polish, or use Press Ons. Either way, doing your nails can make you feel more put-together and confident.

After all of these steps, you should feel refreshed and ready to take on the next week of everything that college entails. Remember to pair this with your favorite snacks and drinks for the ultimate experience and have a spa-tastic night at home!
